What is Blue Man Group?
Blue Man Group is a creative organization dedicated to creating excitement-generating experiences for our audience and ourselves.
What age group is appropriate for the show?
One of the great things about seeing Blue Man Group is that it appeals to all ages. Kids will enjoy the lights, color and spectacle. Adults enjoy the humor, social commentary and depth of the character. Even the hardened theatre critic finds a deeper message behind the fun and mess. While the show appeals to a wide audience, it may not be appropriate for all children under 3 years old. Please speak to a theatre usher for details and available child accommodations. For a ticket purchase, an adult must be present with a child.
How long is the show?
The show is one hour and forty-five minutes long with no intermission.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code. We suggest comfortable attire and to avoid wearing anything that needs to be dry cleaned due to the possibility of substances from the stage reaching into the auditorium.
What is the poncho section?
The poncho section is the first four rows of seats in the theatre closest to the stage. It is the most “interactive” seating section of the show. If you sit there, you will be provided with a poncho to wear, because the performers work with some materials that splash and can make a mess.Everything in the show is washable so we suggest that you do not wear anything that needs dry cleaning. Sitting in the poncho section does not guarantee that you will get splashed but we provide ponchos as a precaution.
Is your theatre handicapped accessible?
The Blue Man Group Theatre is completely handicapped accessible. We have 13 ADA seats distributed throughout our theatre as singles and pairs allowing for patrons to purchase additional seats next to each ADA location. In addition, the Theatre is equipped with assistive listening and descriptive narration programs for the hearing and visually impaired.
Are concessions available?
The Blue Man Group Theatre lobby provides a full concession counter with an array of snacks, cold beverages and cocktails. Patrons can bring their snacks and drinks to their seats and enjoy them during the performance.
I am sensitive to strobe lights. Should I be concerned? Strobe lights are used during two portions of the show. People sensitive to strobe lights should know this when deciding whether or not to attend the show. (Strobe lights may cause seizures for people with epilepsy.) If people sensitive to strobe lights do decide to attend the show, they should alert the House Manager when they arrive. The House Manager will work with them to help them leave the theatre before the strobes occur, if they request.
Do I need Universal Orlando Resort theme park admission to experience the show?
No, you can purchase tickets to see Blue Man Group without admission to the theme parks.
Where is the Blue Man Group Theatre located?
It is located between the Hard Rock Cafe® Orlando and the main entrance to Universal Studios Florida®.
Where do I park?
All Universal Orlando Resort guests need to park at the resort parking structure which connects directly to City Walk. Parking is $25. Motorcoach/RV parking is $30.
Are camera's or video allowed?
No, they are not allowed in the theater or during the show.
What if I'm late to the show?
Late patrons are seated at the discretion of house management at a time when they will not interrupt the show.
Can we meet the performers?
The performers are not always available after the show. The band does come out to greet and visit after the show and occasionally one Blue Man will visit.
How many seats are in the theater?
There are 1,015 seats total.
